Unexpected Connections – Cersaie 2025

A visual vocabulary shaped by textures, colours and connections

Cersaie 2025 marks a new chapter in Fioranese’s material research. The “Unexpected Connections” concept describes the expressive power that arises from the encounter of different materials, at a time when the identity of places is built through matter, light and relationships. Not mere surfaces, but actual narrative elements able to suggest new approaches to contemporary living: a composite language, enriched by collections with a strong personality. Collections with a confident, sophisticated character, showcased at the exhibition with surprising finishes: join us to explore them.

Fusion – poetry poised between nature and memory

Fusion tells an intimate, almost poetic tale. The collection blends two material sensibilities: on the one hand, the delicate touch of nature; on the other, the strength of human action. Two souls that meet and strike a perfect balance. Wildflower, with its soft veining and dusty tones, tells a romantic tale of natural stone, of a balance between matter and light, between mineral shades and delicate accents. Plaster brings with it the authentic beauty of textured plasters: light surfaces, veiled by neutral hues, conveying intimate, suspended ambiences. Fusion thus interprets matter as both memory and present, tradition and innovation, in a story that combines poetry and essence.

Bits – the light touch of detail

With Bits, Fioranese puts a contemporary spin on the terrazzo tradition, with a crisp, rigorous, yet vibrant aesthetic. Small, irregular inserts rise to the surface like random signs, marking a visual pace that alternates apparent chaos and rigorous precision. The result is a material minimalism that brings character to contemporary living spaces, offering a subtle balance between detail and background. Bits thus demonstrates that even fragments, when orchestrated coherently, can build a visual language of great expressive power.

Tratti – light as matter

In Tratti, ceramics become movement. Three-dimensional surfaces shape the light, creating soft shadows and velvety hues that amplify spatial perception. Graceful, geometric patterns engage with intense and more neutral tones, creating vibrant, dynamic narratives. Tratti explores the sensory dimension of matter, offering new expressive possibilities for contemporary design. Here, light is not just an element that illuminates; it is an authentic design element able to transform the atmosphere of a space.

Côte – the essence of stone

Inspired by Buxy stone, Côte captures the essence of living rock, interpreting rather than just imitating it. Graceful veining, warm tones and realistic details come together to shape a surface with a timeless charm, reminiscent of unspoilt rocky landscapes. This collection brings a firmly grounded sense of balance to living spaces, with a natural, earthy strength. Côte is a statement of authenticity: a material that combines elegance and solidity, able to enrich environments with its profound, original essence.

The collections presented at Cersaie 2025 inspired by the concept of “Unexpected Connections” shape a new language for contemporary ceramics. Fusion, Bits, Tratti and Côte are not just tiles; they’re a narrative resource, with surfaces that speak of memory and innovation, of nature and technique, of matter and light. Fioranese thus confirms its vocation to interpret ceramics as a sensitive medium able to evolve alongside projects and people.
