Every year Coem presents many new collections, the fil rouge of which has always been the textured, natural mood, just like the new lines Kavastone, Riverslate, Massive Stone and Lignea, presented a few weeks ago in Bologna at Cersaie 2019.

Kavastone: the beauty of nature, offering continuity for indoor and outdoor use

Kavala Stone, a slate of Greek origin, is the underlying inspiration for this collection; a finish normally used for all kinds of outdoor flooring, or for roofing tiles, thanks to its high resistance to wear and to external agents. Coem has redesigned the special colour effects and textures of this stone, respecting the natural shades, with a double surface finish for indoor and outdoor use, maintaining all the technical features, for tough and beautiful porcelain stoneware floors. This collection can be used to create highly continuous effects, instantly offering greater breadth and harmony to any space.

Riverslate: a sophisticated yet courteous style

Grey, brown and black are the basis for the Riverslate colour palette; a new collection inspired by Jura Slate, a common stone in Central and North-West Europe with a silky shine that adds a naturally elegant touch to any setting. Coem has interpreted the front and back of this stone with different graphics, creating a stone-effect stoneware with two surfaces: one waxed, and one natural, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. What is the effect obtained? Extreme grace and timeless style.

Massive Stone: the stone with a contemporary appeal

The new Massive Stone collection is inspired by Pierre Massive stone and traditional dry stone building techniques, which use blocks of solid stone to create buildings integrated perfectly into their contexts, like temples and architectures of the past. Coem has therefore turned a solid stone with calibrated colour shades into a contemporary surface that adds charm to any space. This collection is ideal for interior design projects with a very modern and sophisticated effect. Moreover, Massive Stone comes in a wide range of sizes and can also be used for special projects such as swimming pool edges.

Lignea: a wood-effect with sophisticated shades

3 different woods make up a set of wood-effect surfaces that remain very true to the original materials: the soft grain of Rovere (Oak), the deep colours of Noce Americano (oiled American Walnut), the variability of Larice (Larch), which also comes in the same pattern in the warm shade of Castagno (Chestnut). Variable shades and sophisticated textures are the result of a cutting-edge technology that offers the most sophisticated and exclusive wood-effect porcelain stoneware on the market today. Lignea makes it easy to add a welcoming touch and a relaxing atmosphere to any setting.
